About

A small studio
that stays after launch.

The AI agency market went from roughly two thousand firms to over twelve thousand in two years. Most of them will switch a bot on and disappear. The difference between a system that earns its keep and one that quietly degrades is entirely what happens in month two.

How we work

Principle

Diagnosis before prescription

We will not recommend a tool on a first call. We measure what is actually leaking — by calling your business the way your customers do — and let the findings pick the build. Sometimes the honest answer is that you need a better phone system, not an AI one.

Principle

Tool-agnostic by policy

We are not a reseller for any platform. Voice, orchestration, models and telephony get chosen per project, on merit. If every client of an agency ends up on the same stack, the stack was chosen before the problem was understood.

Principle

Ownership, always

Everything is built in accounts you control, under your billing, with your credentials. If we part ways, you keep a working system and the documentation to run it. Lock-in is a business model, not an engineering constraint.

Principle

Boundaries written down first

Before anything goes live we agree in writing what the system must never do: no medical or legal advice, no promises about availability it cannot verify, no card details over the phone, no information about other customers. Ever.

The studio

Built in Sofia.
Deployed anywhere.

Aurum designs and operates AI systems for service businesses — the ones where a missed call is a lost customer and the phone is still the front door.

We work in English and Bulgarian, deploy in more than thirty languages, and keep client data on EU infrastructure. Engagements are month to month. There is no minimum term, because a system that is working does not need a contract to keep a client.

The people who scope your project are the people who build it and the people who answer when you write. That is a deliberate constraint on how many clients we take at once.

Aurum is the Latin name for gold — element 79, the metal that does not corrode. It is a high standard to name yourself after, which is rather the point.

Questions we get asked

Does it sound like a robot?

Judge it yourself on the call rather than taking our word for it — we will dial a live agent and hand you the phone. Most callers do not realise they are speaking to a system. Anyone who asks for a person gets one immediately; that rule is non-negotiable and is written into every deployment.

What happens when it does not know something?

It says so, offers to take a message or transfer, and the gap is logged. Those logs drive the monthly review. An agent that admits ignorance is far safer than one that improvises, so we tune hard in that direction and check transcripts for it.

Do we have to change our phone number?

No. In most deployments you keep your number and we set forwarding for the cases you choose — no answer after fifteen seconds, line busy, or outside opening hours. Your customers see no change at all.

Is it replacing our staff?

No, and we will not sell it that way. It covers the hours and channels your team cannot: evenings, weekends, the second line, the language nobody on shift speaks. Teams that adopt it well end up doing more of the work that needs a human, not less.

Where does our data live?

On EU infrastructure, encrypted, GDPR compliant, and not shared with third parties. You can export or delete it at any time. We will walk your DPO or lawyer through the architecture if they want it — that request comes up more often than you would think, and it is a fair one.

How long until it is live?

Two to three weeks for a standard deployment, from the first call to answering on your number. Complex integrations take longer and we will say so before you commit rather than after. Any agency quoting a three-month discovery phase before building anything is billing you for the wrong thing.

What does it cost?

A one-off build fee plus a monthly operating fee, scoped to what you actually need — we quote line by line rather than publishing a number that would be wrong for most businesses reading it. It is consistently a fraction of a full-time front desk. You will have the figure in writing after the audit call.

Find out what you
are actually missing.

Twenty minutes. We call your business the way your customers do and send you the log. No deck, no obligation, and the findings are yours either way.
