“What went wrong, and how long did it take to fix?”
Every deployment has something. The useful signal is not whether it broke but how fast someone answered when it did.
References
We do not publish testimonials. Anyone can write those — including us — and you have no way to tell the difference from the outside. What we offer instead is harder to fake and more useful to you: the names and numbers of businesses currently running our systems, and no involvement in what they tell you.
How it works
On any serious call, ask for references in your own sector. You do not need a reason and we will not ask for one.
The only thing we do is confirm the client is happy to take a call. We do not tell them what you might ask, and we do not tell them how the conversation should go.
No script, no warning, no prepared answers, no one from Aurum on the line. Ask whatever you want, for as long as you want.
Tell us what you concluded, or do not. A reference call that ends the conversation is a fair outcome and costs us less than the wrong client would.
What to ask them
Most reference calls are wasted on pleasantries. These six get you the truth in under ten minutes. Use them on us, and use them on whoever else you are considering.
Every deployment has something. The useful signal is not whether it broke but how fast someone answered when it did.
Ask it in exactly those words. It gives an honest client permission to be specific instead of polite.
Compare it to the two to three weeks quoted on this site. If the answer is much longer, you have learned something we did not tell you.
No system is perfect at month six. What matters is whether the gaps are known, logged and shrinking, or quietly ignored.
The month-one attention is easy. Ask about month five, which is when most agencies have moved on.
The only question that aggregates all the others. Ask it last, and listen to the pause before the answer.
Why this page is not full of quotes
A page of five-star quotes from unnamed businesses is the cheapest thing on the internet to produce. It costs an afternoon and proves nothing, which is precisely why almost every agency has one.
When a client agrees to be named and quoted, their words will appear here with their business, their role and the date — and they will have signed off the wording. Until then this page stays as it is.
You are not losing anything by the absence. A quote you cannot verify was never evidence; a phone number is.
Start with the audit
Twenty minutes. We call your business the way your customers do and send you the log. No deck, no obligation, and the findings are yours either way.
